Every once in a while I get a flier from my apartment complex. The drill is largely the same every time. I come home to find a white piece of paper shoved in my doorjamb. Last year, my grandmother died. I hadn’t seen her in nearly five years, hadn’t spoken to her in two. She’s slowly cut herself off from her daughter and by proxy her granddaughters. (more…)

Bookmans recently added me to the iPhone club, which is awesome. Within the first few weeks, I’d managed to drop the thing. No harm was caused, but I did recognize my immediate need for a case for my new toy. (more…)
