Last year, my grandmother died. I hadn’t seen her in nearly five years, hadn’t spoken to her in two. She’s slowly cut herself off from her daughter and by proxy her granddaughters.

Follow Friday is a practice that has gained quite a following on Twitter. What is Follow Friday, you ask? A nice, friendly definition can be found here, but I’ll excerpt it for you.

Bookmans recently added me to the iPhone club, which is awesome. Within the first few weeks, I’d managed to drop the thing. No harm was caused, but I did recognize my immediate need for a case for my new toy.

I have recently added a tea set to my gift list for 2009. And, sadly, I can say that this is because there has been another casualty in the Severance house. Tea sets do not live long under my roof, or so it seems.
