So funny I ran across this tonight... I used to play a LOT... granted not nearly as much as some of my friends (one buddy has 8 lvl 80's) but I have an 80 tank, a 72 DK and a 45 Mage.

Over the years I was in and out in and out. After 60cap I started a handful of new alts but never played any of them past about 25 - got bored playing the same quests all the time.

Little time after 70 cap came out I jumped back in and power leveled and was a main tank for a while and concurrently started the BE mage... played for while... got way too busy with work and raiding was taking ALL my saturdays and everybody wanted me to do the same during the week to gear up... bleh... quit.. again...

Last expansion came out and after a while jumped into that and lvl'd the tank to 80 but stayed arms warrior. Hated the class as we got mega nerfed. Most of my friends were never online anymore when I could find time to play once in a blue moon, and I got really bored with my professions and just didn't care anymore.
Mage wasn't as fun, mostly because I hate going through all those zones and quests again.

So found a new buddy irl and jumped on his server and started an Alliance DK (always been horde) and lvl'd him up for a while... again got bored somewhere in my early 70's.

And I work too much to have $15 sucked out of my account every month for something I really don't ever use.

Maybe one day I'll jump back in... Anyways felt like dropping my wow story :)

It gets boring for me occasionally, too. What I absolutely adore about RP servers is how immersed they keep me. When you have people around you that care about your storyline and care about how you interact with the world, it creates an entirely different atmosphere.

I sunk more hours than I care to admit into that game, and have to admit I had a blast playing it.

Got boring for me though...
