For a few months now, I’ve wanted a new little life in my house. I love Spaz, but she’s a cat and prone to do cat-like things. She curls up with me when she feels like it, she lets me know when her food bowl is empty, but her very existence doesn’t depend on mine. (more…)

My school, in its infinite wisdom, has decided that I need to learn Java. It also seems to think that I can learn this to proficiency in a matter of ten weeks. The first five weeks are considered basic programming. The next five are for the advanced level. Can someone say “rushed”? (more…)

I’ve started using an application on my iPhone known as Gowalla. The premise is similar to FourSquare’s, which I was never quite sure about. The entire app is based on the idea that someone wants to know where you’re at or have been and that you want to make a game out of it. (more…)
